AGARTALA, March 5 (TIWN): Tripura is witnessing changes in bureaucracy and administration under the new guidances from New Delhi to clean the State Administration. In past 1 week, Police arrested Minister Santana Chakma’s bodyguards for heroin smuggling, followed by removal of tainted OSD Dilip Roy to KTD Police Training Academy, then shuffling senior bureaucrats including all powerful Alok Kumar to New Delhi, then yesterday’s tough stand by AMC CEO Sailesh Yadav against the erring MLAs Ram Prasad Pal & Aashis Saha for supporting illegal encroachers in Agartala.In a rare incident, when spineless bureaucracy had hit the State Tripura’s administration, Agartala Municipality Commission Sailesh Kumar Yadav has displayed the constitutional given power to an IAS Officer when he denied to bow head before BJP’s hooligan MLAs and kept the honour of his position.

On Wednesday, BJP led by two MLAs Asish Saha and MLA Ram Prasad Pal went to place a deputation to the AMC Commissioner, Mayor with Howrah river bank locals’ problems, but the deputation turned almost sudden attack inside a conference room where a meeting was going on. IAS Sailesh Yadav reported asked the MLAs to cool down and asked extra public to go out of the room and maintain the discipline.

Yesterday, when Asish Saha, Ram Prasad Pal were in AMC main office, on the other side, BJP in groups were placing ward to ward deputations.  The situation of AMC is right now BJP blaming CPI-M for drainage problems ahead of monsoon and on the other side, Mayor complained that due to BJP Govt, AMC can’t operate.

Asish Saha is again although a BJP MLA, but now a days considered as the B-Team of BJP. With all these, AMC’s situation is under huge pressure and on Wednesday, all of a sudden, BJP MLA Asish Saha and Ram Prasad Pal with huge numbers of BJP workers entered in a meeting room and started set of gherao activity with cameras in hand. Commissioner Sailesh Yadav has hit the BJP workers for indiscipline activity which sounded more like a propaganda rather than problem solving of the public. 

After those videos were put in social media, netizens have hailed IAS Sailesh Kumar Yavad for his bold move saying, ‘first time a spine holding IAS spotted’.
