Washington, Oct 6 (TIWN) Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has said that US President Donald Trump "won't destroy him" or his family over the latter's call for an investigation against the former Vice President and his son.

Trump’s request for an investigation into the Bidens, directed to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a July 25 phone call, has resulted in an impeachment inquiry against the American leader launched by the House Democrats, Xinhua news agency reported.  Biden made his comments during a campaign swing through Nevada after days of internal debate among his advisers over how best to refute unsubstantiated claims by the president and his personal lawyer that Biden improperly assisted his son’s business ventures in Ukraine and China.
