2 US service members killed in Afghanistan

Kabul, March 22 (TIWN / IANS) Two US service members were killed in combat operations in Afghanistan on Friday, the NATO-led Resolute Support mission said in a statement.
"Two US service members were killed while conducting an operation," Xinhua news agency quoted the statement as saying.
"In accordance with the US Department of Defence's policy, the name of the service members killed in action are being withheld until 24 hours after notification of next of kin is complete."
More than 16,000-strong NATO-led Resolute Support forces with majority of them Americans are stationed in Afghanistan to train, advice and assist Afghan forces.
