AGARTALA, Jan 21 (TIWN): The Election Commissioner may interrogate Tripura's MP Jharna Das Baidya to reply BJP's demand of the MP's shifting during election hours. BJP raised demand to Dy Election Election commissioner Sudip Jain that MP Jharna Das Baidya can not be kept here during poll season as she openly gave life threatening to the opposition activists saying 'CPI-M will take measures of each and everything from the BJP after CPI-M comes in power'. However, the Election Commissioner till now couldn't answer to the queries, but assured BJP leaders that surely there will be actions taken against her statement if it's true, a topmost BJP leader said. However, at the same time there have been demands for restraining 7 more Govt Officials from poll duties as they are working as CPI-M cadres.

Tripura MP Jharna Das Baidya at korbook had delivered a vulgar speech but till day she didn’t make any apology even though the party secretary Bijan Dhar accepted the guilt. The BJP also demanded CM's statement, but CM Manik Sarkar remained  silent in this matter.

The MP said, “After 2018’s February month’s election we will take full revenge against all people who opposed us. BJP’s Biplab Deb will run to his wife at Delhi but where will you go ? Before the cabinet meeting we will take all measures of revenge”.

The BJP had gheraoed at least 50 police stations of the state with around 50,000 BJP protesters' supports in this regard. Election Commission was also complained about it. BJP also tried to file a case against the CPI-M MP, but Gomati Dist Court had denied to take MP's case asking for DM's permission. Later BJP said it will file a case in the High Court. However, now it's to be seen what action the Election Commission takes against the MP.
