AGARTALA, Jan 16 (TIWN): Ahead of Tripura Election, mafias are in action in the capital city Agartala. Rapes, murders, attacks are leading a paralyzed law and order situation under the ruling CPI-M. After Gautam Sarkar’s murder, once again another attack led by mafias has shocked the public. Yesterday at around 11. 30 PM, one Raju Debroy was brutally attacked by a mafia gang with a 4 persons team at Pratapgarh. Mafias tried to murder him in front of his home. Anyhow, Raju Debroy managed to escape from the spot. Immediately a complaint was lodged at West PS of Agarlarla.In a separate incident a bomb blast was informed from Jirania, whereas allegation raised again the ruling party CPI-M.

With all these, law and order situation is being collapsed ahead of election, even though central forces are in action.

On the Makar Sankranti two dead bodies recovered from North Tripura. Yesterday one tribal girl was raped and brutally killed at Khowai.

Congress had gheraoed East Police Station protesting against Gautam Sarkar murder case, who was brutally killed on Jan 11 and his dead body was found at Chittaranjan Club area of Agartala.

Talking to Congress MLA Gopal Roy, he told TIWN that Gautam Sarkar murder was a plan of CPI-M and thus police is also helping to hide the criminals. Only person has been arrested after 6 days of the brutal murder. BJP State President Biplab Deb has expressed shocks over Chief Minister's silence after every murders.
