AGARTALA, Jan 13 (TIWN): Tripura Sports Minister Sahid Chowdhury has accused once again the Central govt for fund-deprivation.

Even though under 25 years of CPI-M regime, Tripura has failed to give  a better infrastructure to state but after making an indoor stadium with central Fund recently, Tripura Govt is accusing Central Govt for depriving state Tripura.

Sports Minister Sahid Chowdhury alleged that Central Govt had denied Tripura to release fund for rural level sports and it was Chief Minister Manik Sarkar who arranged the fund on Sahid Chowdhury's request.

"Tripura Govt has given 1 football per village and various sports items have been given village to village but Central has given nothing", added Chowdhury amidst Central Govt led vast funds releasing and helping Dipa Karmakar like sport-starts with financial aids, whereas Tripura Govt didn't give anything to her even after he well performance at Rio Olympic.
