AGARTALA, Jan 9 (TIWN): Assam Rifles land belongs to Union Defence Ministry,it was never a property of State Govt which is known to Manik Sarkar since his half-pant days working at his father’s Tailor shop in Agartala. On a shocking display of anti-national rant against Army rather than thanking them to protect Agartala from Bangladesh Terrorists, scam-lover Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has blasted today, "There is no need of Force in Tripura's Capital City's heart. Take a shift and go little far". "CM was addressing at Indoor Stadium building inauguration programme and he continued, "Since 10 years we are requesting the former Central Govt as well as the Present Central Govt to give us the Assam Rifles ground, but nobody bothered to listen with various excuses".

"They said that Assam Rifles are not going from Tripura. But they may not go, but here in the capital city there is no need of force. Go little away".

CM continued, "We have shown 3 places, but no place they liked. It can not happen . At last we had showed them a place in Lembuchara, where Agriculture College is located. It takes hardly few times to go there and roads are also becoming good, but they are not ready to go there. We have fixed the place for them, but till day Govt of India has not given green signal".

Manik Sarkar unfortunately forgot his own status that he is a mere ordinary politician, if Centre apply President’s rule then Assam Rifle Jawans can treat him with chappals for speaking against India’s Armed forces for doing dedicated service to nation.

Manik Sarkar’s CPI-M now cash starved after Chit-Fund scams and MGNREGA fund crunch so Chief Minister wants beautiful Assam Rifles ground to be converted into a concrete jungle so that CPI-M again can mint hundreds of crores.

"We will not leave it ! Field is for sports ! Govt of India has to release it. We are ready to pay and help them, but this field we need", said CM.

Earlier, allegation had raised, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar's plan of converting every open space of Agartala into concrete structures only fueled by the sole desire to create more wealth for ruling party fund and contractors. Chief Minister's letter to Prime Minister Modi to hand over 115.70 acres of Assam Rifles defence land to construct a modern sports complex, stadium only justifies the nefarious plans of State Govt. Fact is, massive constructions of stadiums always fetch multifold benefits to ruling party as contractors  supplying construction materials can pocket crores and enrich CPIM party fund. After construction of  a stadium, rather than sports persons, it becomes another playground of politicians as endless rallies destroy the ground within no time. For example newly constructed Vivekananda Maidan (former Astabal ground) was used for more political gatherings rather than sports events, endless political rallies destroyed the ground.

But today Manik Sarkar has given an open warning to Assam Rifles to evict them.
