Cleaning staffs 'Bhakti’ for Manik Sarkar : CPI-M’s Poor People’s Govt theory under question-mark ahead of Election : State eyeing for Cabinet meeting

AGARTALA, Jan 9 (TIWN): Ahead of Election, today it will one of the most important cabinet meetings and the Left Govt may take certain decision to woo employees vote banks too. After the cabinet meeting, Finance Minister Bhanu Lal Saha will address the press declaring the decisions taken by the CPI-M Govt. But before the cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has received major embarrassment as the cleaning profession holder who claim them as ‘Harijans’ have created a scene by showing ‘Bhaktis’ in front of Chief Ministers residence demanding regularization. When CM was going they remained in folding hands by showing him “Pranams”.

Manik Sarkar was going to secretariat and will attend the cabinet meeting at there. Demanding to talk about Harijans in the cabinet meeting, they created the scene causing a huge embarrassment at Marx Engels Soroni. The Harijans (cleaners) were standing in front of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar’s residence since the morning and staged demonstration demanding regularization. Earlier, various times they wanted to meet Manik Sarkar but couldn't. Finally today folding their hands, they offered 'Bhaktis' to the Chief Minister. Folding hands they said, "We are standing here by folding hands, praying all Ministers and Chief Minister to regularize us".

"We hope that Chief Minister and his Ministers will look after their all employees. We will be obliged if they take decision of our regularization in the cabinet meeting”, CM added. 

However, employees  are now eyeing for the cabinet meeting of the afternoon.
