Targeting media is Politician’s Freedom-of-Speech ? Chit Fund tainted Gautam Das mocks at media for observing 100 days of Santanu’s murder !

AGARTALA, Jan 4 (TIWN): Targeting media directly has become a fashion in Tripura especially by the ruling party CPI-M and its Chit Fund, Smuggling tainted leaders. But in this blame-game the freedom of speech’s rights have shifted from media to the politicians, which is leading everyday attacks upon the 4th pillar of democracy, because "They Don't like what Media writes/ show". Instead of accepting criticism and upgrade behavior and patter the party leader Gautam Das once again mocked at media for observing 100 days of Tripura’s journalist Santanu Bhaumik’s murder.

For Politburos insulting Govt of India in front of foreign delegates, terming Prime Minister as terror-linked is called freedom of speech but if media criticizes, it becomes unexpectable for them.

CPI-M leader Gautam Das through a press meet said that on 16th December against 6 IPFT supporters police filed chargesheet but among them the two have joined in BJP named Ramendra Debbarma (Ramendu), Pushrai Debbarma (Soumendu), who were in hide till. Targeting media, Gautam Das said, “The people who are observing 100 days of Santanu’s murder, what they will say ?

However, it’s important to say that no media knew about the two IPFT leaders belong to Santanu murderers, as police told media nothing about the accused much, but surprisingly police have given details about their chargesheets to Melarmath. So what is the link of demanding CBI or to observe 100 days of Santanu murder case after with IPFT’s joining in BJP ?

BJP State Observer Sunil Deodhar had welcomed tribal supporters of the state yesterday at Krishnanagar party office. All the activists were from IPFT named : 1) Ramanada Debbarma (Yuva IPFT Ass Secretary), 2)Pushrai Debbarma (Yuva IPFT Division V P), 3)Sunil Tripura (Yuva IPFT Langtarai Valley Division G S) 4) Subash Reang, 5) Debanand Debbarma (Khowai IPFT Ass Secretary). But surprising matter is that before Gautam Das, media didn't know that these youths' names were in police's chargesheet.
