AGARTALA, Jan 3 (TIWN): BJP State President Biplab Deb after meeting the victims of Belonia CPI-M attacked family members, called a press conference at Agartala Party Headquarter giving warning to Chief Minister to block his movement if the chargesheets of the recently held murders are not displayed before public including two journalists’ murders. Addressing a press meet, BJP State President Biplab Deb said, “The poll-bound violence which was started by CPI-M has hit South Tripura with our activists Amulya Malakar’s brutal killing by cutting his throat. After the murder police immediately arrested Gopal Malakar to keep him safe and so that no names of CPI-M cadres get exposed. Not only this, Gopal Malakar is mentioning already as a mad person just like they labeled our killed BJP leader Chanmohon Tripura”. “Whether Gopal Malakar or BJP’s killed leader Chanmohon Tripura were mad or not it would be said by doctor. Who are Police or CPI-M to declare it ?” “In Chanmohon Tripura’s case, Bijan Dhar from Melarmatha announced that he is mentally imbalanced and thus he was labeled as mentally imbalanced by police also”, added Deb.

The BJP President also brought charges against MLA Sadhan Das for hijacking the victim Amulya Malakar’s house.

“Local MLA Sadhan Das with his cadres totally hijacked the house of Amulya Malakar, not allowing BJP activists to enter there. The goondas had occupied the home. After I went, only then our BJP activists could enter the house”, said Biplab Deb to media. 

“When I was asking his brother what happened actually, one CPI-M cadre was asking his brother that tell him it’s not a political murder”, added Biplab Deb.

Noteworthy, after 1 person was killed, 5 injured in CPI-M’s cadre attack at Belonia of South Tripura, BJP State President Bipalb Deb has met the GB referred persons and alter visited Belonia to meet the victim family.The deceased has been identified as Amulya Malakar, whereas more 2 persons admitted in GB and 3 at Belonia’s Rajnagar hospital. According to state president Biplab Deb, all of them had joined BJP recently and thus CPI-M cadres have hacked them to seriously injured and also one was killed. The culprit named Gopal Malakar was arrested in this regard. At first there was an exchange of arguments between Amulya Malakar and Gopal Malakar after Gopal attacked Amulya in drunken condition.

After that to save Amulya from Gopal's attacks, Shankar Malakar (52), Shibu Malakar (26), Bidhu Malakar (32), Titurani Malakar (36) and Haranjit Bhowmik (26) wanted to stop Gopal but Gopal started to attack all with sharp weapon 'Da' and as a result many of them left injured.
