AGARTALA, Dec 30 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Sarkar today inaugurated the 'Shishu Mela' (Children's Fair) at Egiye Cholo Songho club situated at Agartala Melarmath.

The Chief Minister urged the parents to encourage their children towards extracurricular activities besides their studies.

"The parents must educate their children well so that they can be much aware of any kind of social unrest across the state", CM said. 

CM also spent times with the children present at there.

The Egiye Cholo Songho club is the first club in the capital city Agartala to start Sishu Mela. The club is situated at Agartala Melarmath. Several children with colorful costumes today participated in the 27th Shishu mela held at the club.
