AGARTALA / SONAMURA, Dec 29 (TIWN): Finally, the Education Minister's speech has exposed the ongoing games inside the Secretariat with SSA teachers lives. Tapan Chakrbaorty in a Madrasa building inauguration programme said clearly today, "The present Govt is unready to listen anything. RMSA, SSA projects are going to be closed. But Tripura has 1200 schools, already suffering from teachers crisis. But anyhow we will run the schools". Tapan Chakraborty's statement at Sonamura clearly indicates that SSA Teachers will lose their jobs soon ! But question is when 90 % funds are being sanctioned by Central Govt for employees salaries, who has stopped Tripura Govt to regularize the teachers ? When other state at own expense are regularizing the teachers why Tripura Govt can not even after 90 % funds (98 % in actual) are given by central ?

Most important matter is Central Govt never stopped SSA but asked states to shift SSA teachers under state govt employees before recruiting new SSA teachers. 

In a letter to all the state govts on Nov 15, MHRD Joint Secretary Manish Garg told states, "The Dept has emphasizing to the states during the PAB meeting that the states should fill up the state vacancies first before filling up posts under SSAs. Teachers salaries, equivalent to vacant state cadre posts which was deducted in the past for Odisha Chattishgarh in 2014-2015. Accordingly it has been decided that the salaries of the teachers sanctioned under SSAs to the tune of teacher vacancies in the state sector will be shifted to state and will not be funded under SSAs".  

But Tripura Govt has not regularized them, rather Tapan Chakraborty told SSA teachers 'Pashe Achi'.

Earlier, The SSA teachers accused Tripura Govt for looting SSA teachers’ salaries years after years and also a figure out of the vanished amounts from teachers salaries has been released by SSA teachers saying per year looted amount by Tripura Govt are : Rs. 1,32,684 (Primary Teacher, those who completed 5 years), Rs. 44,010 (Primary Teacher, those who Not completed 5 years).

In case of Upper primary those who completed 5 years, Tripura Govt looted Rs. 1,42,206, whereas in case of upper primary (Not completed 5 years) are : 50,000/-.
