AGARTALA, Dec 29 (TIWN): On the day of Exam, Tripura's two College girls Deboshree Roy and Paishali Das of Women's College were assaulted, beaten, faced ragging allegedly by senior SFI students. Following the incident, BJP youths have come in massive protest at there, seeking reasons behind such incidents from the Principal. Both the girls had no interest to become SFI members since the beginning of their college life, but they grew interest in ABVP and recently was seen with BJP Yuva Morcha, a local source said. But due to exam they didn't come in College for long time but when today they had entered College, to sit in the exam were beaten, slapped, caught on hair by senior girls. On the other side, shockingly Police denied for any FIR on spot, but has 'checked' the matter. Resentments have brewed among the College Students, locals during the exam hours. In such a renowned Degree College, how on the day of exam such incidents took place it has created question. An FIR has been lodged by BJP Mohila Morcha members against the incident.
According to the allegation three SFI activists were involved in beating Deboshree Roy and Paishali Das. The 3 girls are : Manjira Dey, Rakshandra Roy, Trishita Debnath. All of them are College Students.
However, nothing is unbelievable in this incident as SFI led mass-student ragging hardly any degree college student didn't face in their lives. Opposition parties have remained un-allowed to stand in election also and the College Voting goes under a total ragging.
Data says that Tripura Colleges have 40000 students overall who are a huge vote banks for CPI-M and that's the reason, why they can not tolerate other party's entry in the Colleges. This is also a kind of masterplanned poll agenda to brainwash students since they are in Colleges. CPI-M's this pre-poll organized violence paralyzed College education across Tripura.
