AGARTALA / BAGMA / UDAIPUR, Dec 22 (TIWN) : With a shocking note one bus was attacked by miscreants at Bagma National Highway, the darkest area after evening at Agartala-Udaipur way. No passenger was injured much and all were saved as the driver managed to run away from the spot with his passengers. Such a shocking incident has generated panics among the common people and daily passengers. As per the eye-witnesses there were only two men (One Bengali, One Tribal) to attack them. Both of them were in two separate vehicles, were overtaking the bus again and again. At a time, two vehicles stopped infront of the bus and stopped the bus on National Highway. Both of them were shouting to stop the bus and soon they started to hit the passengers standing on the door with shoes. But nobody could dare to hit them back as there were high possibilities that the miscreants were bearing sharp weapons or petrol, fire with them. Suddenly they started stone pelting at the bus. One of the vehicle's number has been noted is : TR07-1674.

Many small vehicles and buses were crossing through another diverged road, but nobody stopped and all were escaping.

One of the miscreants were also drunk, said one passenger. There are high possibilities that they might attack other small vehicles too.

A complaint has been lodged at the syndicate at night 10 AM and in the morning they go for an FIR, TIWN Udaipur correspondent informed Agartala Office.

The name of the attacked vehicle is ‘Prince’.

Such incidents were also observed on National Highway earlier and stone pelting was reported many times in running trains.

Lack of security feeling has gripped the common people, especially the loneliest areas on the highways.
