AGARTALA, Dec 21 (TIWN): CPI-M’s 10323 Teachers recruitment scam finally revolting against its own support base. Even though CPI-M is propagating that SC has extended 10323 teachers jobs on ad hoc basis, but the 'extension' word is itself an illegal to mention here with 10323's jobs. 10323 teachers at the beginning even though were with the CPI-M Govt, but now have raised question, after Bhanu Lal Saha, the Finance Minister held a press meet on yesterday announcing all benefits of the 10323 teachers will be like earlier for next 6 months. Teachers are raising question, 'There are many benefits in our present jobs including CL, EL, Medical counts, pension, die-in-harness. But will we get these in the coming 6 months ?'

One teacher (name kept hidden) on Wednesday through phone raised a complaint to TIWN, "If it's an extension of our jobs, we have many medical counts, which we haven't used. Can we use the benefits in coming 6 months ?"  The teachers told TIWN, "There are many fools among us thinking it's a great decision, but Bhanu Lal Saha left his press conference yesterday incomplete".

Noteworthy, Finance Minister Bhanu Lal Saha on Tuesday, announced that the salaries and benefits of the 10323 teachers will remain as same as they were getting earlier. However, on special assembly's proposal, Bhanu Lal Saha said, "It's unconstitutional and impossible that the 10323 teachers can be appointed in that manner through Validation Act".

Hence only 13 days left that as per the Supreme Court's verdict the 10323 teachers are going to lose their jobs and the termination date is 31st December, 2017. State Govt has to issue a termination notification in this regard.

On the other side, state govt is busy now in paper making for 10323's fresh recruitment on ad hoc basis which will be continued for 6 months from January 1st to June 30.

But it has triggered questions as the teachers are raising questions, "After getting nothing like central benefits for 5 years with our spoiled career, losing every chances, what have we actually received ?"

Noteworthy, after 10323 teachers case raised in HC in 2010, a division bench of the high court, comprising Chief Justice Deepak Gupta and Justice Swapan Chandra Das, had passed then order May 7, 2014 terminating the jobs of 10,323 school teachers after Dec 31, citing irregularities in recruitment and SC has upheld High Court's 2014 verdict.

However, HC had given an excellent option to save 10323 teachers jobs by appointing the petitioners who filed case against the job after being deprived due to job recruitment scam.

But instead of accepting the guilt, CPI-M Govt continued to fool 10323 teachers and appealed in SC by collecting hefty amounts of fees from them for SC's case.

But on March 29, 2017 they lost the case in SC too as SC upheld Tripura High Court's decision. Supreme Court in a humanaitarian gesture to 10323 teachers mentioned that the teachers will continue their jobs till 2017, 31st Dec.

After that State Govt appealed at SC for revision of the judgment and again the state govt lost the case on Dec 14, 2017 but SC asked Tripura Govt if it wants 10323 teachers can be appointed on ad hoc basis to diminish teachers crisis in the middle of the session, just maximum for 6 months.
