AGARTALA, Dec 19 (TIWN): Manik Sarkar Govt's mass-deprivation finally surrendered to unholy fate after defeats in High Court & Supreme Court. 10323 Teachers illegal recruitment all set to terminate on Dec 31,2017 even though a 6 months re-appointment breather failed to pacify public anger. Tripura Govt finally has given up the 10323 teachers issue saying, 'Their futures, jobs are uncertain'. This partial acceptance has come after 10 years of 'Pashe Achi' slogan of the CPI-M Govt with 10323 since a case in 2010 was filed against the illegal recruitments of the teachers in 2009-10. After Tuesday's cabinet meeting, Tripura Finance Minister Bhanu Lal Saha held a press conference referring the appointments of 10323 teachers from January 1st to June 30 on ad hoc basis for 6 months, which the SC had allowed hearing plea of State Govt on Teachers Crisis in the mid of the session.

Being asked by media why the Validation Act was not implemented to save 10323 teachers, Saha replied, "It's not that we didn't go through the Act. Immediately after the article published by former Justice, we sat with our legal advisers but according to us it's illegal and unconstitutional".

"However, sometimes issues and definition of laws vary from Justice to Justice and the Justices who wrote on Validation act, they wrote from their angles", added Saha.

Referring the teachers raising demands for Validation Act, Saha said, "They are doing as their jobs are uncertain". However, criticisms are likely to arise as since the case was filed against the jobs in 2010, the CPI-M Govt continued to sustain the teachers about their secured futures under the ruling CPI-M. In 2014 High Court with terminations of 10323 teachers jobs, asked the state govt to 'save their jobs by providing the deprived youths jobs too', but the CPI-M Govt's arrogance stretched the issue at Supreme Court and finally lost the jobs at the Highest Court on 29th March, 2017.

Noteworthy, after 10323 teachers case raised in HC in 2010, a division bench of the high court, comprising Chief Justice Deepak Gupta and Justice Swapan Chandra Das, had passed then order May 7, 2014 terminating the jobs of 10,323 school teachers after Dec 31, citing irregularities in recruitment and SC has upheld High Court's 2014 verdict.

However, HC had given an excellent option to save 10323 teachers jobs by appointing the petitioners who filed case against the job after being deprived due to job recruitment scam.

But instead of accepting the guilt, CPI-M Govt continued to fool 10323 teachers and appealed in SC by collecting hefty amounts of fees from them for SC's case.

But on March 29, 2017 they lost the case in SC too as SC upheld Tripura High Court's decision. Supreme Court in a humanaitarian gesture to 10323 teachers mentioned that the teachers will continue their jobs till 2017, 31st Dec.

After that State Govt appealed at SC for revision of the judgment and again the state govt lost the case on Dec 14, 2017 but SC asked Tripura Govt if it wants 10323 teachers can be appointed on ad hoc basis to diminish teachers crisis in the middle of the session, just maximum for 6 months.

Today, when teachers are at the verge of destruction, then the Finance Minister is saying, 'Teachers jobs and futures are uncertain', but till yesterday Govt continued to say 'Pashe Achi'.
