AGARTALA, Dec 18 (TIWN): With the crucial Assembly Poll results of two states, Tripura BJP has launched victory rallies across state, challenging Modi Govt will form surely the next Govt here. Celebrations are across the Capital City by the saffron brigade, whereas CPI-M has stopped giving breaking news on Gujarat Poll through its social media. CPI-M National General Secretary Sitaram Yechury is celebrating 1 seat at Himachal Pradesh but the main tension is now concerned with Tripura Election-2018 as after Kerala, CPI-M has kept the existence alive in Tripura only. However, celebrations have begun across Northeast Tripura, launching various election rallies from BJP party offices. At Bordowali, near Battala BJP activists were seen playing colours and with musical instruments in hands. At the afternoon there will be more rallies, to be launched by BJP as Tripura CPI-M had challenged BJP with Gujarat election.

On the other side, Congress Bhawan is undergoing more jolts as only two MLAs and few countable supporters are left in the party office.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said the BJP's imminent victory in Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat was a lesson for the Congress and those who had criticised the "Gujarat model" of development. Taking a dig at Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Adityanath said he had predicted that change of leadership in the Congress "will be a good sign for the BJP".

"People all over the world have appreciated the Gujarat model but Congress has raised questions. This is a lesson for the Congress and the opposition parties," Adityanath said.  Referring to Himachal Pradesh, Adityanath said the Congress has not been able to save its fort.

He said people have rejected the "divisive politics" of Congress. "The win is due to the dynamic leadership of the BJP and hard work of BJP workers." The winner is king, Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani said on Monday as the BJP was set for victory in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.

"It is a matter of happiness for us. This is the victory of development," Irani said as election trends and results showed the BJP poised to win both states.

Asked about the Congress bettering its performance and giving a tough fight to the BJP in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's home state, the Minister suggested that the victory margin did not matter. "Jo jeeta wohi sikandar. It is victory of every (BJP) booth worker's hard work and the people who trusted development."
