AGARTALA, Dec 16 (TIWN): One BJP activist Sunil Deb has been brutally killed at Kanchanpur yesterday night.

After killing, his body was left in a water-body. The body has been sent for post mortem.

State BJP will organize various protests following the incident. Earlier also many BJP activists had been killed in state in last 2 years. 

The BJP Statement says, "Our party activist Sunil Deb has been brutally murdered last night. His lower shank were chopped. This pattern of murder first time happened in political history of Tripura. The pattern of murder reminds us about series of Killings of our Swayam Sevaks and Party activists in Kerala by Left killers".
