AGARTALA, Dec 15 (TIWN): Airport Authority of India's Chief Dr. Guruprasad Mohapatra in his visit in Tripura told media that very soon many developments are going to happen in this Airport and demands of the Agartala Airport will rise more in coming days.
"Already Agartala Airport is dealing with 13 lakhs of passengers and in coming days demands will more rise as the Airport has potential", he said.
Talking about the International Airport, Mohapatra told media, "Agartala Airport has the potentiality. That's why we have taken 500 crores project in hand and the new terminal building construction has begun. Very soon you will see a lot of demands and developments".
Agartala Airport has been a domestic airport located 12 km northwest of the city of Agartala, the capital of the state of Tripura in India. It is administered by the Airports Authority of India. Presently work on International Airport at 500 crores of cost is going on at there.
