CPIM State Committee conference to be held on February - March

Agartala, August 20 (TIWN): CPIM State Committee’s Conference will be held on the last week of February or last week of March. State Secretary Bijan Dhar informed this on a press meet at State Party Office on Wednesday. Spokesperson Goutam Das is also present in the press meet.

Talking to reporters at State Party Office today Mr. Dhar told that before the State Committee’s Conference. All India State Seminar will be held in the month of September and District Level Conference will also be held under the supervision of District organizing Committee. He also announces the name of the convener of District organizing Committee. In South District Convener will be Amitava Dutta, In Unakoti- Bijoy Roy, and Dhalai- Pankaj Dutta, Khowai- Samir Deb sarkar, West- Pabitra Kar, Sepahijala- Gora Chakraborty, North-Basudev Majumder and Gomati- Madhab saha.

Other than that on Food Security Law , he told that The State Committee urged the Government to give 5kg rice on the rate of Rs2 per kg to the needy families on the priority basis. State Committee also urge the people of Manu to win Prabhat Chowdhury to establish their faith on CPIM Govt. 

State Committee also demanded the Central Government to set up Broad-gauge up to Agartala rather then from Lumbding-Silchar and at the same time reduce the time of setting Mega block. Because it will hamper on the export of commodities and the passengers also faces trouble twice.

Mr. Dhar also told about the agenda of the movement of CPIm to be finished in December. The issues are FDI, Disinvestment, MNREGA and Subsidy on Agriculture, rise in price of essential commodities etc. It is to be mentioned that The two days CPIM State Committee meeting ends today. At the inaugural session homage was payed in the memories of late CPIM leaders.
