AGARTALA, Dec 13 (TIWN Exclusive): Ahead of the Final Hearing on the Tripura CPI-M Govt's appeal for extension of 10323 terminated teachers' jobs for one year and the illegal 12000 non-teaching posts scheduled to be held in the Supreme Court on 14th December 2017 another massive corruption of the Manik Sarkar Govt’s is exposed in public and this time it is through Teachers' Recruitment Board ,Tripura(TRBT) that Manik Sarkar led CPI-M Govt is involved in a gross corruption and that too with a sole purpose of obstructing the judgement of the Supreme Court during the hearing on the crucial 10323 teachers' term extention for 1 year period issue . State Govt recently appraoched to the Supreme Court apealling for 1 year extention of service of the 10323 terminated teachers citing the ground that if their jobs are not extended for one year , there will be major vacum of number of teachers in Tripura and in that situation the entire education syatem of Tripura will broken down.

But TIWN has once again found a massive corruption of the State gov't and this time the entire corruption is being planned to be conducted through TRBT.

The recent notification of the TRBT exposes the hypocrisy of the state govt and its cruel motive of influencing the judgement of the Supreme Court regarding the hearing of 14th December .

On 17th November 2017 Teachers' Recruitment Board, Tripura in its notification vide No.F.2(1-18)GEN/TRBT/REC/2017-18/1579 dated 17-11-2017 has asked online applications from the educated youths of Tripura for 6248 Under Graduate Teachers( for Class I-V) and 1325 Graduate Teachers( for Class VI-VIII) . TET  Examination for a total number of 7573 posts will be held.  In the notification it is categorically written ," The number of vacancies may increase or decrease following therequisition of the concerned department ".

In the minimum qualifications segment TRBT has asked for all the requisite qualifications as desired by NCTE guidelines . From this it appears that the TRBT is following a transparent process for conducting the TET examination. But if one critically analyse the notification he/she will be stunned to find that no fresh candidate will be able to appear in this TET exam for UGT and GT because for Under Graduate Teachers(for Class I-V) TRBT very cunningly added a line of  condition using the word AND  " Passed Tripura Teachers' Eligibility Test(T-TET) Paper-I and obtained certificate issued by TRBT . "

Similarly , in case of Graduate Teachers(for Class VI-VIII) TRBT has made it mandatory by giving the line using the word AND stating ," Passed Tripura Teachers' Eligibility Test(T-TET) Paper-II and obtained certificate issued by TRBT .

The use of the very word AND makes it clear that only those who earlier passed the T-TET Paper -I and TET-T Paper-II can appear in the T-TET exam to be conducted for these posts .

It is to be mentioned here that state govt has made a point before the Apex Court that the termination of 10323 teachers will sure create a dearth in teachers' number in the state . The state gov't also made the point that till date there is a huge shortage of adequately qualified candidates in the state for filling up the posts of UGT and GT(for class VI-VIII) .

However, very cunningly the state gov't , through TRBT , is preventing the fresh candidates having requisite academic and professional qualification from appearing the T-TET exam . If one goes to submit the online application for UGT(for Class I-V) he/she is mandatorily asked (in SL no 3) to submit the details like  Session, Roll No , Total Marks(150) , Marks obtained in T-TET paper -I . Similarly in case of GT(for class VI-VIII) the candidates are asked to submit the details like Session ,Roll No,Total Marks,Marks obtained and Percentage of Marks in T-TET Paper -II .

Those who can't submit these details his/her apllication can't even be processed . Thus, this is a gross violation of the judgement passed on 29th March 2017 in 10323 teachers' termination case .

In the supreme court the state govt has made the appeal for extention stating the dearth of teachers if the 10323 teachers don't get extention but the fact is that compare to other states in India , the students-teacher ratio in Tripura is much higher and that too excluding the number of 10323 teachers .

At the same time a top level official in the State Secretariat told TIWN over phone that even in Agartala only the number of excess teachers are more than 800 and they are not being transferred as they enjoy ruling party's patronage .

Further, there are quite a number of unemployed youths in Tripura , who have passed in H.S(+2 Stage) with more than 50% of marks and do possess either DElEd or BED or any such professional qualification. But due to the cunning act of TRBT and state gov't these youths are bound to be deprived .

An crucial is that when the state govt is pointing that number teachers is not sufficient , why has it denied employment eralier even after passing the T-TET ?

From the above facts it is clear that through the TRBT notification  state govt has thrown dust into the eyes of youths of Tripura with a malicious intention to influence the judgement of the Supreme Court prior to the final hearing on 1 year extension appeal of 10323 teachers' jobs and 12000 non-teaching posts .

Manik Sarkar Govt's corruptions continue unabatedly as opposition BJP's immature leadership yet to strike seriously via CBI or High Court case on CPI-M's massive scams.
