AGARTALA, Dec 12 (TIWN): With the rain was stopped since yesterday morning, the National Highway again is getting a better shape with the double lane project workers were seen busy since early morning in road repairing. Also policing was active today, which has been much helpful for the drivers to cross over the damaged roads. Even though traffic jams are yet hanging on the National Highway slowing the vehicle movements but it’s much more better than the last 2 days that the state had undergone. Since Sunday the Amtali area was gripped inside mud, turning the National Highway unworthy for travelling. As per the local sources a vehicle form Agartala to Udaipur had covered the journey from 6 PM to 11 PM on Sunday and at Amtali only it took around 3 hours to pass. However, faster recovery of National Highway is going on aided by the Sunny day.

Tripura is going back to its normal lives, with a sigh of relief for the common men, even though the main problems will be faced in the vegetable markets with price hike and vegetable-crisis.

The Amtali area road was the worst among all roads, taking 2-3 hours of vehicle stranding at there. Due to the double-lane project ongoing in Tripura, the National Highway has taken a dangerous shape especially the Agartala-Sabroom way.

Since Sunday morning, the massive traffic jam followed by thousands of vehicles rows had hit the Suryamani Nagar to Amtali road. The road is further taking dangerous shape with various collapsed parts of it.

A terrible accident had taken place at Bagma yesterday, left many people injured in bus and truck collision.
