AGARTALA, Dec 6 (TIWN): Being asked by media in a press conference, whether there should be any classification among the SC on the basis of income as rich SCs are also enjoying all the facilities which actually they don't need, BJP National SC Morcha President Vinod Sonkar said that such classification is not only complex but may increase chances of corruption and further increase deprivation.
"As you know our country has been facing tremendous corruption across depts. So, even though point is correct, but can not be implemented so easily", said Sonkar.
BJP National SC Morcha President Vinod Sonkar has arrived in Tripura in one day visit.
The BJP leader paid tribute to Dr B R Ambedkar on his death anniversary in Tripura, whereas other years he joins the national level programme.
A massive rally was also held joined by only SC BJP members, in front of Rabindra Bhawan.
Addressing the press meet, the BJP leader said that Tripura Govt uses only 3 % budget for SC, which is a "total deprivation".
"All schemes of the Central Govt could be nicely used by Tripura CPI-M Govt but it has been depriving the SCs since its 25 years of its regime", said Sonkar.
Answering media till when the reservation system will be continued in Tripura, Sonkar said, "Reservation was launched for a minimum period of time but the Govts of India had been failed to upgrade the society since after the Independence.
