AGARTALA, Dec 2 (TIWN): With a major jolt for Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, slain journalist Sudip Datta Bhaumik's family members have demanded CBI probe in his murder case. Holding a press meet, Sudip Datta Bhaumik's family members told media, "We don't have trust on SIT, especially after seeing the development of other murder cases under SIT". The demand was raised after the case of Sudip Datta Bhaumik took U-turn yesterday when 3 other arrested accused in Sudip Datta Bhaumik’s murder case gave fully different statements against TSR Bn Commandant Tapan Debbarma. Addressing a press meet at the press club, Sudip Datta Bhaumik’s family members, including his wife Sima Datta Bhaumik told media that the whole family members along with journalist are in demand of CBI investigation in Sudip Datta Bhaumik’s murder case.

"For the sake of fair investigation, we demand for CBI probe in Sudip's murder case", family members told media. 

Earlier also the demand for CBI probe was raised by the state journalists but state govt had constituted a SIT for Sudip Datta Bhaumik’s murder case. However, now it’s to be seen what Tripura Govt does as the demand for CBI probe has been raised by the family members.

The resentment of the family members of Sudip Datta Bhaumik was felt since the beginning, which first time came out when Bhanu lal Saha’s visited  their home.  

Unlike Tripura's first killed Journalist Santanu murder case, Tripura CPI-M could not create any false impact upon senior journalist Sudip Datta Bhaumik’s family members with their fabricated stories and 'comrade sentiments' and their crocodiles tears. Slain journalist Sudip Datta Bhaumik’s mother Putul Rani Datta Bhaumik neither talked, nor gave any expression to see Tripura Minister Bhanu Lal Saha, MP Shankar Prasad Datta and other Govt Officials.

Sudip Datta Bhaumik was one of the bravest journalists in state Tripura, who exposed various crimes and corruption of the CPI-M Govt and against TSR commandant Tapan Debbarma also various news items were written by Bhaumik which led the TSR Officer to kill Sudip Datta Bhaumik.

Like a coward 4 persons had killed an armless innocent journalist inside a room but following every murders CPI-M has been fabricating stories to put the blame upon their opposition parties. But this time, it did not work out with Sudip Datta Bhaumik’s mother. Through expression and gesture the CPI-M leaders understood what their false sympathies will not work here. 

Now finally demand for CBI probe has been raised by the family members of Sudip Datta Bhaumik. Now, it’s to be seen what state govt says in reaction of the press conference.
