AGARTALA, Nov 28 (TIWN): Ghastly fire has burnt Khayerpur market on Tuesday early morning, led massive losses.
Many shops were burnt due to the fire incident but the cause of fire has remained unknown.
Many vegetable shops, tea stall and other shops were burnt in the incident. Getting informed about the incident fire brigade rushed to the spot and controlled the fire.
The market shed was inaugurated by MLA Pabitra Kar in 2010.
Some of the shop-keepers whose shops were burnt have been identified as Uttam Kumar Das, Ashim Chowdhury, Samir Deb and some others.
