DHARMANAGAR, Nov 26 (TIWN): Deplorable shapes of Tripura Govt Schools, allied by teachers-crisis are hitting the students hard ahead of board examination. Dharmanagar located Amtila Bhinanjappa Madhyamik School left in deplorable shape forcing class 9 and 10 students also to continue classes by sitting on the floor. In 21st century's Right to Education Era, such scenarios are only visible in few states including Tripura where benchless classes have remained as common problems to the education system. In many schools students have to sit under the trees to hear the lecture of the teacher. At Amtila Bhinanjappa Madhyamik School only 3 teachers are taking care of the whole school. Out of 9 teachers 6 belong to SC led terminated 10323 and thus only 3 teachers, without any Headmaster is managing the school from class 6 to class 10.
In the cold weather also the students have no option than to do classes sitting on the floor.
This school doesn't only lack infrastructure but teachers' attendance are also very minimum. Irregularity of teachers have been increased due to the 10323 teachers who are not coming in school regularly. 10323 teachers hardly come once in a week. Exams are nearby and in this condition what will be the students' future it's concerning the authority.
However, this is not the single school which is facing such situations but there are many schools across North Tripura suffering from various shortages including teacher-shortage, class room shortage and undergoing no bench, no fan, no drinking water like conditions.
