AGARTALA, Nov 24 (TIWN): One school teacher named Gita Debnath Shil (45), W/O- Sudhangsu Shil, resident of Ranibazar Briddhanagar died met tragic death in the morning.

Working as primary teacher in Rani-Gao Girls School, Gita Debnath was on the way to her school like everyday at 6.30 AM.

But as soon as she crossed the bridge named Ghuramara, a vehicle hit her and escaped. Nobody could identify the vehicle.

Fire brigade rushed to the spot and took her body to GB hospital but doctors declared her as dead.
