CHARILAM, Nov 18 (TIWN): Voicing against the various ongoing scams, BJP locked Charilam's Uttar Brajapur Panchayat on Saturday.

The issue was raised after Panchayat Chairperson Presenjit Shil misbehaved with  villagers after they alleged various misappropriation of funds under the Panchayat.

Allegation raised that Panchayat Pradhan Suman Debnath, who is solely helping the corruption ongoing at there.

There are CPI-M supporters Swapan Debnath and Arati Debnath who never participate in MGNREGA works but in their accounts constantly MGNREGA wages are entering.

When BJP went to raise the issue the Panchayat members misbehaved with them and following the roughness of the members' bahaviour BJP locked Panchayat.

Various other corruptions  of the Panchayat were alleged by the BJP activists at there.
