AGARTALA, Nov 17 (TIWN): Northeast Tripura's another tragic fate under the CPI-M Govt was revealed recently which says that Tripura records with highest Commodity price amidst highest unemployment rate and lowest GDP growth across the country, fueled by poor pay-structure of govt employees and lack of source of income. As per the February month's Assembly Session's data of Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha in 2012, Tripura's price index was highest with 177, whereas in 2013 it was 2nd with Price index-194, in 2014 and 2015 also Tripura was either in 1st or in second position.

Thus putting blames upon the Modi Govt for demonetization or GST behind price hike was a lie by the CPI-M Govt as it has maintained an unbreakable record of highest prices of commodities since decades. Recently Opposition MLA had exposed the matter, but earlier also same allegation was brought by opposition parties.

Tripura is the state where commodity price is the highest, amidst lowest DGP rate in the country turning the lives here miserable for the common people. However, Assam's Tejpur has ranked now the top most city where price hike has sky-rocketed but that is a particular town, whereas Tripura is a state which immediately comes after Tejpur town.

In this condition the long deprivation to the Tripura Govt employees, the down in domestic production, loss in GDP have turned the issue more critical. But before 5 years the situation was somehow better when a huge number of Tripura people were engaged in agriculture. Tripura’s GDP growth rate is only 7 %, which is the lowest in the whole country even worse than Jharkhand and any North Eastern States.

In this condition either Rajdhani comes or 5 National Highways but unless and until visionless Communist regime can not be diminished economy can never uplift.

On the other side Govt employees still are under 4th Pay Commission costing the people heavily from high price tags. Many customers recently alleged reacting over the vegetable prices that Tripura Govt has no control in commodity prices.

MLA Ratan Lal Nath said, "In the name of central deprivation, Tripura CPI-M Govt is cutting public pockets since 25 years".
