AGARTALA, Nov 10 (TIWN): After 24 hours of Bishalgarh violence, Tripura BJP leaders exposed CPI-M's 2 year-long pre-poll violence under Chief Minister Manik Sarkar's regime. In a press conference held in the afternoon chaired by BJP leader Subal Bhowmik, Spokesperson Ashok Sinha, the BJP challenged its rival CPI-M for 2018 election, claiming that 'Pre-poll violence and Manik Sarkar's Anarchy can't weaken BJP's increasing power'. Addressing the press meet at the party office, Subal Bhowmik said, "As the election is coming closer an anarchy like situation has gripped the state. Earlier the CPI-M cadres of the small category were attacking our party members, but now Ministers, MPs are directly coming in the picture, exactly showing their actual faces". Total 4 persons were admitted in GB hospital, 1 was released later.

"Samarjit Ghosh, one TSR official with his wife and daughter was in bike when CPI-M cadres had attacked them. Panchayat cadres Partha Sarathi Majumdar, Pradip Debnath were the persons first to attack them and  treated the body of Samarjit Ghosh very meanly thinking him as dead. At Bishalgarh Hospital also doctors thought that he is dead and later at GB hospital, Samarjit Ghosh opened his eyes", said Bhowmik. 

"MP Sankar Prasad went with some drunkers, had shown his mafia-face at Bishalgarh. The drunkers were uttering slang words as per they could. With 'Da', 'Lathi' the attack continued at there", said Bhowmik.

Total 6 party offices of BJP were damaged, burnt and the violence continued till 2 AM at Bishalgarh. 

However, the BJP leader further informed that their 3 parliamentary representatives to come in Tripura, to visit various spots including Bishalgarh violence spot. 3 team with 3 leaders will be split : one will visit Tripura journalist Santanu's murder spot, Khayerpur; another to visit South Tripura to take notes of Priyanka Reang muder, Supriya Mog, Payal Murasing and another  team will meet  Nishikan Chakma's family and some other victim families.

 Yesterday, after BJP led successful Pristha-Promukh programme the activists were returning home, CPI-M cadres attacked a women and when Yuva Morcha people went to see her, CPI-M had attacked upon them too. When all had been hospitalized, above 100 of Marxbadi goons allegedly attacked them, gheraoed the hospital. Police is saying that they are trying to push back the CPI-M activists, but even after continuously telling the SP, he came after 1 hour, alleged BJP observer Sunil Deodhar. Atleast 15 people were injured in the clash. (The injured number was figured out later as 17). 

After the incident BJP President Biplab Deb, BJP leader Subol Bhowmik, MLA Sudip Barman, Yuva Morcha leader Tinku Dey rushed to the spot. State BJP Observer Sunil Deodhar also reacted sharply immediately after the incident. The BJPs will also be monitoring the Bishalgarh area to safeguard their people, informed Subal Bhowmik today.

BJP further demanded Centre's intervention in Tripura's law and order. Subal Bhowmik also said, state BJP has informed the whole issue to central Home Ministry and Parliamentary team's visit will take each incident's notes.
