AGARTALA, Nov 9 (TIWN):Lack of traffic men across the city corners are leading mass traffic jams everyday in Agartala. The existing traffic police men are trying their best in traffic management but due to shortage of traffic police the jams are turning incontrollable.

The increasing traffic congestion turning lives miserable here as a half km's journey now a days are killing above an hour.

From Battala to Math Chowmuhani the traffic jam hardly leaves spaces even for pedestrians.

Moreover, the Motor Stand, Math Chowmuhani remain contested through out the day and even at the night hours.

But surprising matter is that amidst much complaints, traffic police's number remains very less.

Narrow roads are also responsible behind traffic jams fueled by pathetic roadways. The office goers are the worst sufferers due to the constant jam.
