SABROOM, August 17 (TIWN): Agartala Sabroom Railway network is being hampered in middle way for approval from National Board of Wild Life as 9 Hector of land of Trishna Sanctuary is lying in the way to Udaipur Sabroom way.
On 12-13 August Central Minister for Forest and Environment Hon'able Sri Prakash Javre presided over the meeting of National Board of Wild Life and approved the issue that Agartala Sabroom Railway link may be constructed through Trishna Sanctuary. Tripura Forest Department send this news to TWIN on Saturday.
Railway survey work has been started as per declaration of Hon'able Rail Union Minister Sri Manoj Singha of Ministry of Railway GOI while answering a question of our MP Sri Sankar Prasad Dutta in Loksabha.More over Mr Minister also asserted total cost of Rupees 1741 crore is for construction of 110 KM from Agartala to Sabroom railway. Total Ruppes incurred is rupees 596 crore till now.Moreover Rs.500 Crore is also kept for this purpose during the financial year 2014-2015.
