AGARTALA, Oct 30 (TIWN): Counterattacking CPI-M spokesperson Goutam Das’s allegation that BJP has bought various new channels in Tripura, BJP leader Ratan Chakraborty recently said that targeting media with such abusive allegations is unconstitutional.
‘Media is the 4th pillar of democracy, they know what’s going on and thus they report. If CPI-M thinks media can be bought by any political party then they must had experience in that. BJP has not come across such things’, said Chakraborty.
‘Actually, now CPI-M knows that it can rule over all media houses of Tripura and so the party leaders are expressing their frustrations in that way’, said Chakraborty.
Goutam Das alleged that some media houses have been bought by BJP after various reports were made recently about CBI’s grilling of Goutam Das with Rose Valley links.
