CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar in reply to ‘Who killed journalist Santanu’?, had directly accused NC Debbarma for killing him.

‘NC Debbarma has killed Santanu’, Bijan Dhar said at Melarmath Party Office but after that also the ruling party never demanded the arrest of NC Debbarma, that proves CPI-M’s weakness in Santanu murder case of Sep 20.

Mamata Banerjee led  West Bengal CID have arrested Gorkha Janamukti Morcha's Delhi unit president Manoj Shankar from the national capital.

This action was taken after the clash at West Bengal’s Darjeeling held on June 9

Shankar, who was allegedly involved in the clash between West Bengal Police and the GJM supporters near Darjeeling's Bhanu Bhaban during the Gorkhaland agitation on June 9, was arrested by a CID team from Delhi's Safdarjung Enclave area.
