AGARTALA, Oct 25 (TIWN): CPI-M's gameplan is all about delay game with hanging carrots till elections over in Feb 2018.
A new set of drama has begun in the name of saving 10323 teachers' futures as Tripura Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty said, "Already via TRBT qualified teachers are being recruited but those who are not qualified, for them the state govt to ask the SC to know what to do with their future". Earlier, after the 1st stay order Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty told TIWN that SC asked to appoint all the terminated teachers. Now, what suddenly happened that the state govt has to convince the SC again for the 10323 teachers' jobs ?
"Before the hearing nothing can be said", Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty said but resentment has brewed among the 10323 teachers as the termination date is Dec 31."We have to convince the state govt that TRBT has been followed", added Chakraborty. "We have strong points and in no way SC's order was violated by Tripura Govt. TRBT is also in progress", said Chakraborty to media after 12000 non-teaching posts' hearing has been once again postponed till 16th January, 2018.
This setback has majorly affected the 10323 teachers' who were terminated on 2017's March 29 at the Supreme Court due to illegal recruitments of those teachers done by Tripura Govt in 2010 and 2014.
Tension has gripped the 10323 as teachers' termination date is December 31st 2017 and the next hearing is on 2018, January 16. After the hearing of 12000 case, one thing is clear that the 10323 teachers will not be provided with anyother option but have to wait till the final verdict on 12000 case at the SC in 2018's January."We don't have any option", said Tapan Chakraborty after the hearing.
