AGARTALA, Oct 16 (TIWN): Following a constant LPG crisis, locals of Shekerkote blocked national highway on Monday.

The protest was shown, when after waiting for long consumers didn't get LPG Gas cylinder.

Like everyday, queued were seen in front of the Gas-agency but when the office was opened the employees denied to give cylinder and said 'Stock is Empty'.

The agitators said since 1 month were are not getting LPG, whenever we come.

Following the protest police came to spot and asked about the details. However, after police came the employees said on Tuesday gas cylinder will be provided to all of them.

Then the blockade was withdrawn but the angry consumers said that if on Tuesday cylinders are not given they will again block the road again.
