AGARTALA, Oct 14 (TIWN): Finally, only few days left when Tripura's railway passengers' dreams to be fulfilled under the Present Railway Minister Piyush Goyel's era as Rajdhani express has arrived at Agartala Railway Station on Saturday 3.30 AM. During Tripura Sundari express inauguration, the then Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu promised that Tripura to get Rajdhani Express soon. Although Prabhu wanted the Rajdhani in Tripura within one month but due to safety issues it has been slightly delayed but now only few days left when passenger service of Rajdhani to begin.
Thousands of people have been gathering since morning to have a glimpse of the Express train.
TIWN visited Agartala Railway Station when various imported items were being unloaded from the express.
However, on Oct 19 (On the day of Diwali) is most likely the train to begin journey for Delhi. The passengers’ service details will be given soon.
