AGARTALA, Oct 11 (TIWN): Supporters of the Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura (IPFT) had sat on a sit-in-demonstration at Takarjala demanding CBI probe in Santnau murder case.

The tribal party was  earlier accused of being involved in the murder of television journalist Santanu Bhowmik.

 The party denied the claims and ever since demanded a CBI enquiry on the issue. The demonstration was organized on a number of issues including the demand for CBI probe.
