AGARTALA, Oct 10 (TIWN): Ahead of Assembly Election-2018, Tripura Congress to align with its rival Trinamool, in a press meet MLA Gopal Roy announced. With this more political colours are being expected as Trinamool Supremo Mamata Banerjee might share a same dais with Sonia Gandhi to beg Tripura people's votes. "Along with Trinamool also Rajeswar Debbarma led IPFT and NCT to join with Congress", said Gopal Roy. In this regard a meeting will be held among IPFT (led by Rajeswar, Budhu Debbarma), Congress, Trinamool and NCT on Tuesday even. However, Congress which has remained just as a skeleton like feature is trying hard to stand as the opposition by beating BJP in the race. In the mean time Trinamool Congress in Tripura said goodbye with all the MLAs who joined there from Congress now have left for BJP. But how far vote banks of Congress will increase with the alliance it's to be seen.

Congress MLA Gopal Roy while addressing a press meet at Congress Bhawan said, "Congress has no problem to join with the parties which bear secular mindset".

The same Trinamool members who had left Congress party one year back saying, "Congress and CPI-M are aligned", the same party members will now align with Congress.

Earlier Mamata Banerjee claimed that after 2018 election, she will join Trinamool's victory rally in Tripura. But today Trinamool's fate are depending on Congress's vote banks and Congress in its last strike-programme hardly could gather 25 people in the capital city.
