UDAIPUR, Oct 10 (TIWN): Udaipur-Agartala Rail service that has begun in 2017 to cater huge number of devotees this year at Udaipur Matabari during Diwali-2017 that is to begin from October-19.
The train service to be kept under tight security during Diwali.
A preparatory meeting was held recently at Udaipur subdivision of Gomati Dist for Diwali 2017 led by MLA Madhav Saha SDM Udaipur Subashish Banerjee at the conference hall of Matabari block.
ADM Udaipur Animesh Das, Add SP Nabaddip Jamatia, Jila Sabhadipati Suniti Saha remained present during the meeting.
During the meeting it was accepted that this year due rail service the number of travellers in Diwali may increase. However, enough number of CCTV cameras will be provided this year.
last year the crowed had surpassed 3 lakhs.
Security will be tightened further keeping the election ahead and o avoid any untoward incident during Diwali more number of police officials to be deployed at there.
Matabari premise remains now in full festive temperament with them illumination of lighting, long line of devotees, crowd at food stalls, "peda" sweet shops, hotels making delicious food items for devotees.
The main attraction of whole Tripura during Diwali is at Udaipur Gomati Tripura’s Matabari temple. Total 26 numbers of CCTV camera had been set at Matabari for Diwali on last year. 2000 numbers of police force are deployed at the temple on the day of Diwali,
Long queues of devotees, sadhus, children, chanting of religious songs filled air with festivities.
This year Diwali to be celebrated on Oct 19.
