GOI launches Bamboo-based-livelihood's promotion scheme

AGARTALA, Oct 9 (TIWN): Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy on Monday has visited 'Bamboo & Cane Development Industry' at Lichu Bagan as a part of Govt of India's Bamboo-based-livelihood's promotion scheme.
Tathagata Roy, who himself is an engineer inspected each and every equipments, infrastructure of the 'Bamboo & Cane Development Industry'.
West DM Millind Ramteke also accompanied the Governor during the visit.
Govt of India has launched a scheme under which all the bamboo-architects will be given identity cards. In Tripura total 9000 people are receiving this card.
Across Tripura on Monday there are total 5 programmes and the West Dist programme has been inaugurated by Governor Tathagata Roy.
