AGARTALA, Oct 7 (TIWN): Countdown has begun for Kalipuja-2017, which will be held on Oct 19.
Artisans are now busy to shape Goddess Kali idols and to give their best efforts in making the idols beautifully.
After Durga Puja and Laxmi Puja people are now eagerly waiting for Kali Puja or Diwali to celebrate.
In Tripura at Udaipur Matabari temple the highest celebration is made & preparation is there also on peak there also.
Kali Puja, also known as Shyama Puja or Mahanisha Puja, is a festival dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kali, celebrated on the new moon day of the Hindu month Kartik especially in West Bengal, Odisha, Assam and Bangladesh. It coincides with the pan-Indian Lakshmi Puja day of Diwali.
