AGARTALA, Oct 4 (TIWN): Manik Sarkar led CPI-M Govt's mass recruitment scam hitting innocent Teachers' fates to peril. Mass tension like 2 years long pending 10,323 case, the 13,000 non-teaching posts case now has started to hit the teachers with uncertainty even before they could be recruited. The next hearing of 13,000 teachers has been postponed to Oct-24 at the Supreme Court. After Supreme Court's asked State Govt to answer within two weeks about illegal steps of violating SC's order with 10,323 teachers' re-recruitment, Tripura Govt has answered the notice. However, now with State Govt's reply SC to review the case and the next hearing has been finalized on Oct 24. SC has stayed the recruitment of 13000 posts till Oct-24.

SC asked the state govt to recruit the 10,323 teachers as per law through TET exam but Tripura Govt has modified the recruitment rules which is a total violation of MHRD's guidelines.  Govt has created 13000 non-teaching posts but asked 3 to 5 years of teaching experience for each posts.

After a case was filed by unemployed youths of Tripura, who were deprived of the jobs due to the teaching experience's demands, Supreme Court has issued notice to the Principal Secretary of Education Dept Susheel Kumar, Chief Secretary Sanjeev Ranjan against Tripura Govt proposed 13000 posts that were created to save the jobs of 10,323 teachers. The notice was served after a case was filed directly in the Supreme Court by Tripura unemployed youths, after their case was not accepted in the HC.

Supreme court in the notice asked Tripura Govt why it had violated the Supreme Court's order in reappointing 10,323 teachers as Supreme Court asked to appoint qualified teachers through TET and also to form New Employment Policy should be framed by the State by 30th April 2017.

The notice was given to  1) Sanjeev Ranjan , IAS , Chief Secretary , Govt of Tripura 2) Sushil Kumar ,IAS , Principal Secretary to the Govt of Tripura, Education Department, 3) Nirmal Adhikari , Addl Secretary to the Govt of Tripura , Education Department(School) .

But talking to Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty on Friday who is holding both the Education and Law Dept, he said, "Supreme Court can not set the RR. Whatever we have set as the policy or eligibility for our created posts it's fully legal".

However, when state is resented against Tripura Govt for saving 10323 teachers jobs directly by asking to apply for 'Non-Teaching' posts with 'Teaching Experience of 5 years/ 3 years', the Education Minister said, "We never said that 13000 posts are for 10,323 teachers. Here any eligible teacher can apply".

Now it's to be seen what happens in the next hearing.
