Green Chilli's price goes Rs. 240 at Kilo ahead of Laxmi Puja

AGARTALA, Oct 4 (TIWN): With a surprise, green chillies prices have shot up at Rs. 240 per kilo at Agartala ahead of Laxmi puja.
The skyrocketing price of chilli and other items varying from place to place. Tomatoes are selling at Rs. 80 per kilo.
Bottle gourds are selling at Rs. 60, Radishes are Rs. 20 for small size 4 radishes.
Brinjals are sold at Rs. 60 and pumpkin one small piece is Rs. 40, and lemons are at 10 rupees each.
One customer at Math Chowmuhani said, "Laxmi Devi is known as Goddess of Wealth but my salary is getting finished due to high price of Laxmi Puja's items".
However, amidst price hike people will have to observe Laxmi Puja on Thursday.
