AGARTALA, Oct 2 (TIWN): Tripura Pradesh Congress has observed Gandhi Jayanti on Monday at Gandhi Ghat and at Congress Bhawan followed by a rally in the morning.

MLA Gopal Roy and other Congress leaders paid floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Gandhighat.

At congress Bhawan National flag was hoisted and in the early morning a rally was conducted in this regard.

Mahātmā Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was the leader of the Indian independence movement against British rule.
