AGARTALA, Oct 1 (TIWN): With the ending of Durga Puja, house to house preparation has begun to welcome Goddess Laxmi, the Goddess of wealth.

Ahead of laxmi puja, business is on peak and people are busy in buying and selling of puja items.

Demand for Laxmi Murti, garlands and other Puja items are high during laxmi puja.

Laxmi is known as the Goddess of Wealth & after giving farewell to Devi Durga, people are waiting for Laxmi puja celebration, which is to be held on Saturday. 

This year Laxmi puja is on Oct-5, that is on next Thursday.
