AGARTALA, Sep 30 (TIWN): Agartala sweet shops were found busy, queued by customers to buy sweets for Bijoya Dasami.
Dasami means feast and a day-of-the-year for the foodies. From meat/ fish markets to sweet shops all are busy on the occasion of Bijoya Dasami.
This is a part of ‘Misti-Mukh’ culture that every Bengali hindus does it when sharing time with families on Dasami.
Exchange of sweets among families is a mandatory culture while performing rituals. Dasami is also considered as getting together of families.
This year Durga puja began on Dep-27, whereas with Bijoya Dasami on Saturday Ma Durga has said ‘goodbye’ for another year.
