AGARTALA, Sep 30 (TIWN): Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy has visited various Durga puja pandals on Navami night in Agartala.

During the visit, Roy has appreciated club’s attempts of reflecting the culture, traditions and social works.

Roy has also visited age-old Agartala Durga Bari on Friday night. 

This year Durga puja had begun on Sep-27 and till Navami it ended peacefully without any untoward incident.

Tathagata Roy is an Indian politician, engineer and author. He was appointed as the Governor of Tripura in May 2015.
