Tripura to compensate Rs. 10 lakhs to Santanu's family

AGARTALA, Sep 26 (TIWN): Tripura Govt has decided to compensate killed journalist Santanu Bhowmik's family Rs. 10 lakhs who was brutally murdered at Mandai on Sep-20 in CPI-M and IPFT clash.
In a press conference Bhanulal Saha said this to media at Secretariat.
Although opposition BJP had raised demand for Rs. 50 lakhs for Santnau's family, but Tripura Govt has given Rs. 10 lakhs.
On the other side demand was raised for CBI investigation in Santanu murder case, but Tripura Govt has also dismissed that demands and has set SIT for the investigation.
