AGARTALA, Sep 26 (TIWN): After Tripura BJP has demanded immediate CBI investigation in Tripura journalist SantanuBhowmik's murder case, Congress have come in mass agitation showing their trust on Police investigation and judiciary. A rally was also conducted by Congress demanding High Court's judiciary procedure into the case. In other words, Congress has simply rejected to the CBI investigation idea proposed by state's journalists and opposition BJP. BJP leader Subol Bhowmik said, " From State Govt side no statement has been given yet clearly about the killers, but we BJP have come to know various intrigues related to his murder and that's why we are demanding CBI investigation into it. If investigation is not gone in proper manner we will disclose those names soon who are related to his murder, but now for the sake of investigation we are silent"."Such clashes are generally covered by Kokborok based news media at first. But why only Santanu was called on the spot for the news coverage ?"

"How before everyone Santanu was stretched to the jungle and brutally killed ? Section 144 was already in action yesterday. Then how was he killed with sharp weapons before everyone ? This was a pre-planned cold blooded murder" added Bhowmik.

"2 injured persons who have somehow eloped yesterday, we BJP members also talked to them and we came to know about many facts. In 2003 at Mandai 11 murders took place in the similar manner. But like Shyamali Sharma, NilimaDebbarma (NCT member) PapaiSaha cases Santanu's murder will not allowed to be dumped", added Bhowmik.

"The ongoing cases under CBI are slow because when CBI took the cases in hands it was much late, but in Santanu's murder case immediate actions should be taken. BJP will go for massive protest demanding CBI investigation", said SubolBhowmik.

Earlier, in a press conference, SubolBhowmik said, "Allowing the 10 day long National Highway blockade by IPFT has resulted in Santanu's murder. The 10 day long blockade was allowed by Tripura CPI-M Govt as CPI-M's policy is to Divide & Rule".
